ERK Alera License renewed

On the basis of five years successful cooperation the license for the TwinFluid ® system between ERK EckRohrKessel GmbH and Alera international Pte Ltd was prolonged on 1.9.2015. On this basis, ERK boiler licensees can continue to have this special, patented combustion technology available.

For a number of years, ERK boilers with TwinFluid ® fluidised bed combustion system, are in commercial operation, such as the HP steam boiler in Strakonice (40 t/h, 65 bar, 465 °C), which is fired with a mixture of low grate coal and wood chips, or the 27 t/h saturated steam boiler in Indonesia which burns biomass and waste material from cigarette manufacturing.
